Wedding of Juanita and Louis-September 27, 2008

Juanita and Louis were married at Rockland Community Church in Golden. They held their reception at the Sheraton in Lakewood. Jeff and I had taken their engagement pictures earlier this year, so we knew we were going to have lots of fun at their wedding. They are definitely meant to be together and are a great joy to be around.

The picture of all the bridesmaids bustling Juanita for the reception shows how easy men have it by wearing a suit. Juanita and Louis's friends and family were just as nice and fun to be around.

Engagement of Mark and Rachel

Jeff and I had lots of fun taking Mark and Rachel's engagement pictures. We went up to Boettcher Mansion and the weather was perfect. There were lots of mountain bikers and I had to include one of them in a picture. We are photographing Mark and Rachel's wedding next August.

What a lovely family! We did lots of family shots, but here are a few of my favorites. Makes you want to go home and give your loved ones a big hug.

The Skul Family

We just love the Skull family! Jeff and I photographed their wedding in 2007 and we always love seeing them. Their little boy, Tommy, is the cutest little boy. I just love his little smile. They also have the most amazing and well behaved dogs we have ever seen.

Wedding of Lisa and Kyle - September 13, 2008

Lisa and Kyle were married and held their reception at the Sheraton in the Denver Tech Center. I loved, loved, loved Lisa's veil. It was so fun and elegant. Lisa's niece was such a cute and very well behaved little flowergirl. She giggled all the way down the hill in the walking picture. I think we were all laughing harder than her at her cute giggle. Sue Kimball (www.kimballfloral.com) provided the amazing flowers. I had to post a picture of the ice sculpture. It always amazes me that someone can carve something so beautiful into a piece of ice. Lisa and Kyle's family were so much fun to be around. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day.

Wedding of Amy and Ricky - September 12, 2008

Amy and Ricky were married and held their reception at Hudson Gardens. It rained all morning and the weather looked as though it would never stop raining. Thankfully, the rain stopped and they were able to have a beautiful wedding out in the gardens. Typical Colorado weather! The light was perfect and we were able to get some amazing pictures. Amy and Ricky's little boy looked absolutely adorable in his little tuxedo. I met Amy and Ricky at a wedding last year and I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding. Jeff and I had lots of fun.

Wedding of Jen and Joe - September 6, 2008

Jen and Joe were married and held their reception at Silverthorne Pavilion in Silverthorne. We had beautiful blue skies and lots of sun to take pictures. Joe and his groomsmen fly fished in the river before the ceremony. I was just waiting for one of them to fall in, but thankfully everyone came out dry. The guests' seat assignments were tied to pine cones. Very cute idea.
