Wedding of Stephanie and Patrick-July 19, 2008

Stephanie and Patrick were married at the Aspen Chapel in Aspen on July 19, 2008. Stephanie's parents were also married in the same church over 30 years ago. They held their reception at the Buttermilk Mountain Ski Lodge. Aspen is an absolutely amazing place to get married and the weather was perfect. After the wedding we traveled to Maroon Bells to take pictures and I am so glad we made the trip. Stephanie was such a trooper walking the trails with all the other hikers in her high heels. Stephanie and Patrick had a small intimate wedding with a great group of friends and family. I love the picture of Stephanie trying to walk holding hands with all the little flower girls. Each little girl went their own separate way. We girls have a mind of our own from the time we are little. I am so glad Stephanie and Patrick selected me to photograph their wedding because I had such a great time.

Congratulations Stephanie and Patrick!

Wedding of Stacey and Curtis-July 12, 2008

Stacey and Curtis were married and held their reception at Lower Lake Ranch in Pine, Colorado. Stacey and Curtis are amazing people and I felt so lucky to photograph their wedding. I had taken their engagement pictures earlier this year and knew I would have a great time photographing their wedding. Their little dog, Freeway, was the ringbearer and he was so cute in his little outfit. Freeway even wore a corsage. I am a huge dog lover, so I was so excited that Freeway was part of the wedding. Congratulations Stacey and Curtis!

Kimball Floral (www.kimballfloral.com) provided the flowers.

Wedding of Heidi and Michael - July 3, 2008

This weddings was all about details, details and details. Heidi and Michael were married and held their reception in Heidi's parents backyard. I have never photographed a backyard wedding and I absolutely loved it. The environment was so cozy and relaxing.

Heidi's mom made her dress, Heidi's wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. She is so talented.

I don't even know where to begin to describe all the details. The flowers provided by Kimball Floral were amazing. A path with tin buckets filed with flowers lead to the backyard. I really loved the gigantic flower balls. Guests wrote Heidi and Michael notes on flower shaped colored paper and hung the notes on small clothes pins on the entrance gate to the backyard.

Each table had jars filled with colorful candy, large pin wheels, flowers, boxes filled with popcorn, toy airplanes and fans containing the wedding party information. Hanging around the edge of the tent were candles with bright colorful ribbon.

Michael created the cake topper that was placed on top of a tower of cupcakes. During the reception jello shot towers were passed around. The night ended with friends and family holding the biggest sparklers I have ever seen in my life. Heidi and Michael definitely did an amazing job planning their wedding.
